
GONYEA, PLLC attorney Joe Gonyea
is an
adjunct
professor at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, and he
has a diversified private law practice. He graduated from the
University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in sociology and
government, and he graduated from South Texas College of Law with a juris
doctorate. He is licensed to practice law in Texas state and federal courts.
While in law school, Joe Gonyea won the National White Collar Crime Mock
Trial Competition in Washington, D.C., won the T. Gerald Treece Trial
Academy Competition in Houston, Texas, and was a semi-finalist in the
National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition in Malibu, CA.
Mr. Gonyea teaches trial litigation skills to law students at South Texas
College of Law, where he also serves as a mock trial coach. He coached
the national champions of the 2011 National Civil Rights Mock Trial
Competition in New York, and the national finalists of the 2008 William
Daniel Invitational Mock Trial Competition in Atlanta, GA.
